While I liked the coloring of the previous comic it took me way too long to achieve that result, so I’m back to going for a more simpler style. I took a lot of shortcuts in this strip (made the background simple and did a lot of cut and pasting of panels) and by the time I finished it I felt cheap, lol.

Spam and Mcdonalds…..

Found out this morning that Mcdonald’s free wifi service blocks out forbez.net (at least here in Canada). I wonder where else my domain is forbidden? And how does Mcdonald’s decide what sites to block out? Forbez.net is relatively new and, to my knowledge, never hosted anything over PG-13. Do they just block out sites they’ve never heard of?

On a semi-unrelated note, some of you who have posted comments here probably noticed that they need to be approved first(once they are approved all future comments by the same poster are approved automatically).

I do this because the site is bombarded by visiting spam-bots and not one day goes by where my inbox isn’t infiltrated by annoying posts like:

Added a bookmark feature..

If you browse through the archives you will notice some bookmark links under the comic. This allows one to, well, bookmark the last comic they were viewing so they can continue at a later time. Not really revolutionary… a ton of comics have implemented a similar feature for years. But for LoF it’s unprecedented!! And yes, I realize the bookmark …
